Windows Won’t Start? Here Are Some Fixes

There’s nothing worse than your Windows computer randomly shutting down, or worse, not turning on at all. If you don’t have your data backed up or you simply can’t afford to lose the computer, having to deal with a malfunctioning PC is definitely one of the most stressful situations.

However, if there’s a will there’s always a way. While some Windows computers may have reached their limit and simply won’t boot no matter what, many computers simply need to be tweaked a little bit in order to get them back to their former glory.

FixMeStick is first on Windows 8

Windows 8 PCs contain a new technology called Secure Boot that only boots devices that have been verified by Microsoft.

Today, we launched a free upgrade that makes the FixMeStick the first virus removal device to support Windows 8 PCs.

What makes support for Windows 8 unique?

PC manufacturers must include a technology called Secure Boot on PCs that ship with Windows 8.  Secure Boot uses a public-key infrastructure to verify the integrity of the operating system and prevent unauthorized programs booting on the device.
