Going on vacation is exciting but it can quickly turn into a disaster if your laptop is stolen or misplaced during travel. No one wants to think about the worst-case-scenario– especially on a holiday. But if your laptop is stolen, it’s crucial that you know what steps to take. After following these 3 steps, there will be a lot less to worry about. You may be able to salvage some relaxation!

  1. Change your passwords on accounts with sensitive information (bank, email, PayPal).
  2. Utilize laptop tracking services such as MyLaptopGPS to locate your stolen machine. There are several laptop tracking services you can look into.
  3. Notify your employer immediately. Especially if you used this device for work related projects.

    i have tried fixmestick on my windows 10 lenovo notebook with no success it will not re boot my password and i am at a loss so before returning it can you help me

    I have only used he FIXiT once successfully, and then it did not speed up my computer. It took about 21 hours to run. I do not have the internet at home and cannot leave my computer unattended at a hotspot. How do I get a refund?

      Please contact us at support@fixmestick.com to process a refund.
      Just so you know, you do not need to be connected to the internet in order to run a successful scan. As for the scan time, this is dependent on the number of files saved on your computer as well as the speed of your computer’s processor.
