FixMeStick available on the Home Shopping Network

When FixMeStick was first launched we knew that we wanted to land the Home Shopping Network. HSN is the best of the best in at-home shopping and we thought the FixMeStick would be a perfect fit.  A few years and thousands of happy customers later we’ve achieved our goal: the first FixMeStick for HSN spot ran in May 2015 and sold out!

The Home Shopping Network, which also began as a small business, has grown a huge amount over its lifetime. Within five years of its launch people throughout the United states had access to at home shopping 24 hours a day, seven days a week and it continues to grow and adapt to the modern consumer. What began as television exclusive offers are now available via smart phones, tablets and computers. Click through and find yourself entranced by the livestreaming ads, you can certainly see why they are so successful!

We are so proud of our Canadian success and our recent success with Best Buy Electronics in the United States gives us high hopes for continued North American success. The recent expansion of the FixMeStick brand, however, into European territory is one of our proudest accomplishments.  …

FixMeStick is first on Windows 8

Windows 8 PCs contain a new technology called Secure Boot that only boots devices that have been verified by Microsoft.

Removing computer viruses ranges between painfully frustrating and impossible. Twelve months ago we launched the first ever consumer-ready USB device for removing viruses from infected PCs. Today, we launched a free upgrade that makes the FixMeStick the first virus removal device to support Windows 8 PCs.

What makes support for Windows 8 unique?

PC manufacturers must include a technology called Secure Boot on PCs that ship with Windows 8.  Secure Boot uses a public-key infrastructure to verify the integrity of the operating system and prevent unauthorized programs booting on the device.

FixMeStick – One year in market

We’ve now been in market for exactly one year, and we would like to thank our customers and our parters (especially Kaspersky Labs, Sophos, and VIPRE) and share a few of our milestones:

  2. 4/5 stars by PC Magazine, 4.5/5 stars on Amazon.com.

  3. Major retail distribution agreements in Canada and the USA.
